Is this the Facebook game? It's EA's own offline release of it, from after the servers closed. Everything happens on your computer; there are no other players, guilds or raids with real people, and the friends you recruit are the game's own heroes.
Do I lose my progress if I close the window? No. The game saves to your L.O.S account about a second after each action and once more as the window closes.
Can I play on another computer? Yes. Sign in to the launcher there and choose Load Game: your slots are in your account.
Can I bring my old save?
If you played EA's offline app, yes: on Load Game, use the folder button next to a slot and pick your .dal file. Saves from the Facebook version were kept on EA's servers and are gone.
Something went wrong with my save. Ask the staff in the forums or on Discord: the server keeps hourly backups of every slot and staff can put one back.
